Megan has more than a decade’s worth of experience working in the fitness industry, starting her career in 2014, aged 23, meaning she has extensive knowledge and always strives to learn more.
Megan started out as a fitness instructor at her local gym, coaching one-to-one sessions, working at local physios running strength & conditioning rehab classes and driving to people’s houses as a mobile personal trainer with an 8kg, 12kg and 16kg kettlebell in the boot of her Ford Ka!
In 2021 she opened her studio, Hebden Bridge Strength & Movement. Her idea was to offer a safe space for anyone who walked through the door, focussing on a high standard of coaching and helping people to feel strong in both body and in mind. Community is at the heart of her studio and this is something she really prides herself on. Everyone turns up and supports each other, no matter what else is going on in their lives.
That community has grown more than she ever expected, with over 240 active studio members in 2026, ranging from 18-85 years of age.
This means there's now a team of coaches teaching alongside her: Nele, Mary, Rachael and Martin. In Megan's words, they're absolute legends who also happen to be top coaches.
